The NAB is about content - creation, modification, distribution, delivery.  Content is what makes our networks so successful - Univision, Clear Channel, and now the WWE - these are some of the premiere content companies in the world and their networks work because they leverage that content. 

The show was definitely incredible, with anything and everything media.

The last few weeks have seen some pretty wild weather across Oklahoma.  The same storms that start rolling across the state every spring and liven things up.  A couple weeks ago I got a call from Elichia - she had just spent two hours in a closet with all 4 cats and 2 dogs as the tornado sirens went off around the house.

It is about lunch time, and it looks like I have received about 284 emails today.  Which, is certainly not the worst email day ever, but it is hefty enough but nowhere near causing a drowning.  I have had nightmares about being buried under papers, thankfully never under email.  Still, with that much email, every now and then you have to take 5 minutes out of your day to put together a response like this -

There is a book, Illussions:  The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah, written by Richard Bach in 1977.  I had to read it in high school.  A lot of the books you read in high school you expect - the old classics, the same that your parents had to read in high school, and their parents before them.  This book was different - it is one of those books that really sticks with you, and one that you will pick up and read again and again and each time find something different.  The past couple of days have been some of the busiest that I have ever had - more work, more to do, and more on the line.  And all through those days I have had one qoute from Illussions rolling around in my head.

"In order to live free and happily, you must sacrifice boredom. It is not always an easy sacrifice."

So there it is - if you want to live up to your potential, live happy, and do what you want to do - its going to take work.  Hard work.  You are going to have to be busy.  Now - I am not saying that you have to sacrifice balance, but you certainly do have to sacrifice boredom.
